"You go to a movie and you see people who look exactly right for that role, They're consummate actors and they're completely involved in what they are doing, so their performance is totally believable."

Lyndon Terracini: Artistic Director, Opera Australia, who makes no apologies for upping the unemployment rate of overweight singers by casting "triple threats,"* those who can sing, act and look good. SMH, 2 July, 2011 - Read more.

Petah: "I believe in a Holistic preparation of the complete performer in opera, music theatre and cabaret, covering technique, repertoire, languages, performance skills and interpretation."

Trained in Australia, London and Vienna, Petah brings a holistic approach to teaching. Able to gauge the depth and quality of a new performer, she can then guide them through their vocal technique, repertoire and interpretation of Drama, Music Theatre, Opera and Lieder including the appropriate languages.

Petah has lectured at Schauspiel Schule Kraus in Vienna, the University of the Arts in Nagoya, and was Head of both Voice and Music Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music. Her students have gone on to star in Opera, Music Theatre and Cabaret both here in Australia and overseas, so if you are just a beginner who wants to learn to sing or act; or an accomplished performer who wants to improve your technique Petah is the one to help you.

Add to this Petah's experience teaching presentation methods to individuals or groups from the Corporate sphere, as well as her ability to remediate the voices of singers, actors and speakers who have sustained vocal damage, and you have the complete teacher and coach.

Petah is also available for consultation or intensive training. Currently she has several students studying toward the AMEB exams, but has room for any others who may also need coaching to prepare for either the AMEB or Higher School Certificate.

Petah is competent to advise in all forms of Audition Preparation whether it is for Drama, Singing or both.

She can even teach pussy Black Cat to purr!

* & ** A triple threat is also known as a triple treat. The threat comes from the threat of hard work that you, must put in to become the consumate performer.
The treat is the enjoyment the audience then has when watching you as a consumate performer.
